About Us

Lois and Danny Letzt have lived, worked and vacationed together for over 25 years, ever since creating Les Tout Petits, their children’s apparel company. Some wonder how they don't go crazy. “For us, it works, and we love it,” Lois says.

The business was conceived in 1984, after their second son was born. Lois started splatter painting diaper sets and doing geometric designs on infant clothing."After being a stay-at-home-mom for a while, I wanted to do something creative."“Danny took them around to several stores in New Jersey, and they were interested in buying them,” Lois explains. “The business started overtaking our Cliffside Park apartment, and Danny suggested we enter a trade show for children's apparel. We decided, if the show was a success, we would start looking for a place of business – because the doormen were getting too many packages for us.”"Everyone loved my designs and the color choices were so different for kids at the time. The response was amazing and everything snowballed into what we have become today." Danny soon left his sales management job to run the firm, and today the Ridgefield-based business produces four collections a year for specialty stores worldwide.

Les Tout Petits offers everything from sportswear and bathing suits to casual and formal dresses for girls up to size 16. The company makes most of its pieces in Ridgefield and ships them to about 150 specialty boutiques around the country.

Girls, including Sasha Obama and Willow Smith, love to wear Les Tout Petits.
